Delegation from Municipality of Milan visits construction site

On Wednesday, March 2, at the request of the Municipality of Milan Urban Regeneration, Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic-Paralympic and Sport-Tourism-Youth Policy-Wellbeing Policy committees, a visit to the Olympic Village construction site in Scalo di Porta Romana, Milan took place.

The visit offered attendees an update on the progress of the works: the site’s environmental reclamation works are continuing on schedule and the planning of the Olympic Village excavation and foundation works, which will begin this year, has been completed.

Urban Regeneration Assessor Giancarlo Trancredi and President of Municipality 5 Natale Carapellese were also in attendance. Representatives from the Olympic world included, among others, the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, the Italian National Olympic Committee, the Lombardy Italian Paralympic Committee and LEDHA.
